MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE
AMEN HOUSE
FOOD PANTRY
The AMEN House is entrusted with the TEFAP federal feeding program. We also have partnerships with Feeding America and God's Pantry Food Bank.
Incorporating food donated by various local organizations, churches, and individuals our food ministry is equipped to meet the need for anyone in Scott County who is facing food insecurities.
AMEN House “rescues” food from Aldi, Bargain Hunt, Canteen, Chick-fil-a, Dollar General, Kroger, Little Caesars, Panera, Starbucks and Walmart.
We serve approximately 200 sack lunches per day, among other food voucher programs for our members.
We could not operate with out our volunteers or our donations!
We appreciate any and all donations of all kinds of food items to the AMEN House Food Pantry.
Many of our members do not have a refrigerator, or a stove. Some do not even have a microwave. When we serve our members,
we ensure that they receive food items they can prepare, serve and eat, no matter their living conditions.
If you have expired foods, don’t throw them away just yet! The AMEN House can use them.
