The BOLD mission of ending hunger in Scott County requires hundreds of volunteers sharing their time each month. Opportunities include delivering food to members, hanging clothing in the thrift store or working the sack lunch window.

Once you apply, you will receive an email from our Volunteer Coordinator confirming approval. Then you will be able to sign up for shifts using our Volunteer Application through Bloomerang. If you have not heard from us in five days, please reach out and let us know.

Food Pantry Volunteers
Volunteers age 10-13 may serve alongside a parent or guardian in the same age appropriate role
Cold Food Order Fulfillment - Dry Goods Order Fulfillment - Produce Order Fulfillment
Volunteers age 14-17 may volunteer unaccompanied in age appropriate roles
Cold Food Order Fulfillment - Dry Goods Order Fulfillment - Produce Order Fulfillment
Russ’ Kitchen Volunteers
Dining room/servers - volunteers age 18 or 14-17 may serve with parental supervision
Kitchen/dish room and Dishwashers - volunteers age 16 and older (no parental supervision required)
Host/hostess - volunteer must be age 18
Thrift Store Volunteers
Volunteers age 10 - 17 may serve alongside a parent or guardian in the same role
