This deluxe Catholic edition consists of:

Bound in elegant ivory pebbled leatherette with extensive gold-stamped religious artwork, the set is richly illustrated throughout with numerous full-page color plates. Included are a special message from Pope John XXIII and a dedication to Archbishop Albert Gregory Meyer of Chicago, dating the edition to the early years of Pope John XXIII’s pontificate.
The original Limited Edition registration label (No. 667A) remains present, and the original “Vatican Heirloom” storage box accompanies the set.
Condition
Both volumes remain in very good to excellent vintage condition with bright gilt decoration and clean, attractive bindings. The interiors are clean and well preserved with no major defects noted. Hinges are sound and the books appear to have seen only light use.
The original presentation box is included and remains structurally sound, showing expected age-related wear, rubbing, and edge fraying consistent with careful storage over many decades.
