During the 2024-25 school year the AMEN House Backpack Weekend Meals Program, in cooperation with 8 Scott County Schools, will put over 59,193 meals into backpacks.
We anticipate 350 kids will need our program during the 2025-26 school year.
350 kids x 40 weekends x $7.50 invested to cover 6 meals every weekend = $105,000
The entire focus of our Denim & Pearls Event is to fund our Backpack Program. This year it will be held at The Vintage Barn at Merefield Farm on Thursday, September 18, 2025. Join us for a beautiful evening with great food by DaRae & Friends Catering and the music of Jordan Allen surrounded by the beauty of The Vintage Barn.
